Attendance - Attendance on a regular basis is necessary for the student to receive the maximum benefit of dance classes. No tuition adjustments will be made due to absences, extended or otherwise. A maximum of 2 make-up lessons may be available for unavoidable absences (illness, death in the family, etc) and when class cancellations are made by the studio (inclement weather). A make-up class must be requested in advance and will then be scheduled according to space availability in an appropriate class.
A student who developed an injury outside of Andrea in motion may not enter class without written consent from a doctor.
Arrival and Pick-up – Students should arrive and be ready for class at least 5 minutes prior to their scheduled class time. Students arriving to class after their warm-up period may be required to observe that day for their own safety.
If someone other than the person stated on your child’s registration form is to pick up your child, Andrea must be informed in writing and the person must present photo ID at time of pickup.
Parking – Street parking only. Driveway is for Drop-off or Pick-up only. You may not sit in your car in the driveway. Please respect that the parking spots are reserved for neighboring businesses. Please follow the arrows entering and exiting the driveway. Marble Loop does circle around the building exiting back onto Winant Place so we would appreciate no U turns for safety reasons.
Dress Code – Students are required to wear their appropriate level uniform to all classes which must be purchased from AIM Studio.
Students who are unprepared 2 or more times must sit out of class.
Hair – Students must have their hair pulled back away from the face and secured neatly in a classical bun for ballet class and a braided ponytail for tumbling, stretch/conditioning and SYTYCD classes. Female students with short hair must wear a headband or hair clips and secure the hair at the back.
Jewelry – Absolutely no jewelry is allowed in class except for post earrings.
Valuable items should not be brought to the studio.
Andrea In Motion Inc. will not be responsible for lost or stolen items.

Studio Protocol –
Parent Etiquette - If a parent at the studio is contributing in a negative fashion to the overall atmosphere of the studio, a particular class, or is any way attempting to manipulate a teacher or the owner, they will be asked to leave the studio immediately. If the behavior continues, they will be contacted via registered mail that their child has been dismissed from further classes and will not be issued any refunds.
If you have a problem or a complaint, an appointment needs to be scheduled with Andrea in order to speak directly to her. If you complain to other parents, they cannot help you. If you are truly unhappy with AIM Studio and do not wish to rectify it, then AIM Studio may not be the place for you.
*AIM Studio reserves the right to refuse service to any student, parent, or legal guardian for any reason, including, but not limited to not adhering to the rules set forth in these policies and procedures.
